Gracie Ann Young-a little bit of everything, a whole lot of Gracie
Since Gracie combines many cultures and ethnicities in her background ( including Native American), she wears items alluding to that diverse heritage.  Her dress is Northern Cheyenne, the sash Choktaw and the cradleboard Kiowa with Delaware influence (due to the flowers).  The cradleboard is uncharacteristically adorned with tiny ladybugs symbolizing good luck in German culture.  The doll is non-descript, but the purse is Ojibwe, the leggings Iroquois, and the shoes Cherokee.  The colorful background contains many items meaningful to Gracie who was 2.5 years when depicted.
