Rocky Mountain Society of Botanical Artists features a traveling exhibit of Colorado Rare Plants. This juried exhibit features 40 contemporary illustrations of Colorado rare plants. Designed to promote awareness and conservation of these special plants, the exhibit will travel the state in 2009 and 2010.

FLOURISH: this exhibit highlights 50 plants/plant families tied to the Denver Botanic Gardens' history and to the institution's authority on plants suitable for the Rocky Mountain west. Twenty-five original illustrations are presented with excerpts from the book and related photographs. One of the origianl illustrations on display will be done by Heidrun Snyder (Yucca harrimaniae).
