Bold and Beautiful, Idle and Industrious
This sunflower is bold, beautiful and common especially in the Plains-States of the US.  Idle is the grasshopper who according to Indian legend and other lore whiles the summer away while the ant busily scurries about to put away food for the winter.  Not surprisingly winter finds the grasshopper unprepared and the ants safe and sound.   He is half-starved before they finally take pity on him and he learns his lesson.
